I received these same error messages trying to access data for recovery purposes from a drive that had crashed and was reporting bad clusters, cross-linked files and such. How to fix??? I'm still getting "Error performing inpage operation", even after the fresh install. The system returned: (22) Invalid argument The remote host or network may be down. Thank you. When I tried to move the drive to my desktop, it "died."The computer "sees" the HD but I can't get it to do anything.
